COMPUTERIZATION OF THE SOCIETY  


The Society has computerized its operations at Head Office, Central Marketing Office, Plant, State Marketing Offices and Area Offices using the Relational Data Base Management System under Client/Server Technology.

Applications at Head office, Central Marketing offices,  State Marketing Offices and     Area  Offices  cover  Inventory Management, Financial Accounting and Payroll applications. Besides this a Provident Fund Management System covering all employees of KRIBHCO is in operation.

At Plant we have an integrated system comprising of Financial Accounting, Payroll, Fixed Assets, Purchase, Store, Production, Maintenance, Transportation, Personnel & Administration and MIS.

In order to take care of the menace of virus , a comprehensive suite of anti virus, asset management and remote maintenance has been implemented auto-update on a daily basis.

A state of the art website of the Society has been developed   in-house which is constantly updated.

A comprehensive Management Information System has been developed and implemented in the Society.

E-mail, Intranet   and   Internet  have  been  provided   to  the employees for efficient functioning.    For  a  faster  Internet  a leased line with radio link has been taken.    Video conferencing facility is also available.

All the Area Offices have been provided computers for office work.

Training in computer use has been an ongoing process and regular training programmes are conducted to impart training to the employees.
