A COMPREHENSIVE DATABASE APPLICATION – EQUIVALENT TO AN ERP
SYSTEM
There are nearly 500 PCs in the plant,
and all of them are interconnected through a switch based campus
wide network of fiber optic and UTP cables,with KRIMS as the comprehensive database applications.

A KRIBHCO
Information Management System (KRIMS) - a comprehensive database
management application - is being run on Oracle and
PowerBuilder platform which covers functional areas of every department.
The application
system has 14 elaborate modules namely

• Finance & Accounts ( including Priced Store
Ledger (PSL))
• Payroll
• Transportation ( Logistics )
• Purchase
• Stores
• Production ( including Process, Bio-fertilisers,
Laboratory and Fire & Safety )
• Maintenance
• Fixed Assets
• Executive Information System (EIS)
• Security
•KRIBHCO Hospital Management System (KHMS)
•Personal Enquiry
• System Administration ( including Access Security,
Change Request in the system )
All these modules are tightly integrated with each other.
A
Personal Enquiry Module has been developed in KRIMS application
through which employee related information as well as
common applications are made available to all the employees on-line
from any PC on LAN. For Security reasons, every employee
has been given read-only access to this Module through a password
whereby the employee can see only his personal information and not
the information related to other employees.
