INTRODUCTION

KRIBHCO has a self-contained township of its own, situated just 3 km away from the plant. The township is around 18 km away from the Surat Railway Station on the Surat - Hazira road. The township accommodates more than 90 percent of its employees working in the plant. There are around 1500 quarters having different categories for different level of employees. Total population in the township is nearly 7000 people.

COMMUNAL HARMONY

The population comprises of people from almost all the states of the country. Everyone in the township is maintaining harmonious relationship with their neighbors to create an environment of belongingness to the same community - KRIBHCO family. Festivals of different States / communities are celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm and people from other communities also participate equally to make the celebration rejoicing.
